LICENSED NURSING ASSISTANT TRAINING PROGRAM

The Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) program prepares students to provide compassionate, competent care to patients in a variety of healthcare settings. This hybrid program combines the flexibility of online learning with essential hands-on clinical experience, allowing students to master both theoretical knowledge and practical skills.

Through 30 hours of interactive online coursework, students explore fundamental concepts including anatomy and physiology, infection control, patient safety, vital signs monitoring, and activities of daily living. The 90 hours of  clinical and laboratory components provide supervised practice in real healthcare environments where students apply classroom learning while developing proficiency in patient care techniques, communication skills, and professional standards. Upon successful completion of the program, graduates are eligible to sit for the State of New Hampshire Board of Nursing licensing examination.  Students are then eligible to work in hospitals, long-term care facilities, rehabilitation centers, assisted living centers, and home health agencies. The program meets all state of New Hampshire Board of Nursing regulatory requirements for LNA’s and is designed to be completed in a 6-to-8-week timeframe, making it an accessible pathway for those seeking to enter the rewarding field of healthcare.

MEDICAL ASSISTANT TRAINING PROGRAM

This comprehensive program prepares students to support medical providers in both administrative and clinical capacities within a medical office setting. The program consists of 320 classroom hours and 160 practical hours.

Students will develop foundational knowledge in basic scientific principles while mastering essential administrative tasks and clinical procedures. The curriculum covers a broad range of topics, including:

  • Computer skills and electronic medical records
  • Vital signs monitoring and EKG administration
  • Laboratory testing, phlebotomy, and injections
  • Pharmacology and medical terminology
  • Anatomy and physiology
  • Medical coding and appointment scheduling
  • Emergency response and first aid
  • Healthcare psychology

Throughout the program, students will cultivate exceptional professionalism and a strong work ethic—qualities essential for success in the healthcare field.

National Certification: Upon successful completion of this program, students will be eligible to sit for the National Health Career Association (NHA)-Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) National Examination.

PHELBOTOMY TECHNICIAN  TRAINING PROGRAM

This 8-week course provides students with essential knowledge and foundational skills in phlebotomy. Classes meet twice weekly for 4 hours each session, totaling 64 hours of instruction.

  • Anatomy and physiology of the circulatory system
  • Medical terminology
  • Laboratory safety protocols and analysis
  • Specimen collection techniques and equipment
  • Error prevention and quality control
  • Medical and legal considerations in phlebotomy practice

  • Preparing blood, urine, and other specimens for laboratory analysis

Upon successful completion of this training program, students are eligible to sit for the National Healthcareer Association (NHA) Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) national examination.
